The main heroine of the series is Luna and it is speculated that she will also be a playable character in the DLC. Gamers will be less frustrated if Luna becomes playable but this isn’t confirmed yet.

According to One Angry Gamer, the younger sister of Gladiolus, Iris Amicitia is confirmed to be available in the DLC. Aranea Highwind, the captain of the Third Army Corps 86th Airborne Unit of the Nilfleim Empire and legendary fighter Cor Leonis from the Kingdom of Lucis will also be part of the playable characters. The playable characters weren’t the only ones revealed as the game’s antagonist will be making an appearance as well. The upcoming DLC will also feature Verstael Besithia, a mad scientist who will be an antagonist of the game. He is the head of the research laboratory of Nilfelheim Empire and he will be creating the strongest existence through his genius mind.
