PS4 fans are now in luck since Sony is adding more options to its console offerings. The company recently added the Glacier White PS4 color option. This is the first color variant for the PS4 Slim.
“Later this month you’ll have the option of an all-new color variation of the smaller, slimmer and lighter new-look PS4 console,” Sony said. The announcement adds that the console will make its debut across the PAL region. The PAL (Phase Alternating Line) territory covers most of Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and Oceania. It is not yet revealed if there will be a North American release.
The Glacier White PS4 Slim comes with a matching Glacier White DualShock 4 controller. It will be available as a 500GB model in Europe. In Japan, a 1 TB variant will also be available.

The white console will be out on January 24 in Europe for €299 / £259 / 220 USD. It will also hit Japan on February 23. The 500GB model will cost 29,980 Yen/259 USD while the 1TB model is priced at 34,980 Yen/302 USD, Siliconera reported.

Other PS4 Colors
To recall, the original PlayStation 4 model which is non-slim, was also available in white for a limited time in 2014. This was released as a special edition design to mark the debut of Bungie’s Destiny. Since it is a new color option, it became popular to fans of the console.
Aside from the white PS4, there were also other color options available but only related to a certain event. It turned red and gold for Metal Gear Solid V. There was also a gray version to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PlayStation.
