The new HTC Vive 2017 VR hand-tracking gloves will allow users to bring different real world objects and materials with them into the virtual world. These objects include plastic guns, tennis rackets, a golf club, a bat, a fire hose and a camera.

The gloves weigh only 3 ounces and are under 4-inches around and 1.5-inches high. The device works by mounting it to the object herein mentioned through a simple connection. Thereafter, the Tracker Gloves enable motion tracking for the object.

HTC will give away 1,000 Tracker Gloves to developers. The application for the free hand-tracking device will be announced by the company soon. The price is yet to be announced but the release date may be during the second quarter of the year.
