Mighty No. 9 Backer Rewards Update: Still No Shipping Sched For Physical Rewards

Mighty No. 9 is one of the games powered by Kickstarter. Game developer Comcept was confident that they can provide physical rewards to their backers who supported them during development.

Mighty No. 9 Physical Rewards

Comcept promised items to their backers during the development of Mighty No. 9While items such as shirts, posters, and plushies among others were given to their supporters in 2015, other items have not been sent to the others who funded the project. Furthermore, the studio was silent in their official website, Twitter account, and Kickstarter page about the delivery of another wave of products to Kickstarter users who believed in the project.

However, Steve Campos of Fangamer responded to the situation and offered a fix. User Rockman ZX posted the statement to NeoGAF. He declared that Fangamer is Comcept’s supplier of the items. In addition, he is happy to report that the physical rewards are in production. While the company can give an estimate based on their timeframe, he mentioned that it is still based on how fast Comcept can provide the assets they needed.

Moreover, he stressed that once Comcept sends all assets necessary, Fangamer can commit to a definite timeframe. Campos shared that they are happy to answer questions through orders@fangamer.com. Some backer rewards include paperback and hardcover art books. In the meantime, copies of the Kickstarter game on USB drivers shaped like an NES or Famicom Cartridge are also anticipated by the supporters.

What Is Mighty No. 9?

The Kickstarter game is a blend of 2D and 3D artwork and animation. Gamers control a robot named Beck, who can jump, run, and shoot projectiles at enemies. They must eliminate rogue robots and find the villain who threatens the planet. Next, players can acquire weapons and abilities from enemies defeated. Beck can dash quickly through large gaps. He can obtain new forms, which give him new abilities. Meanwhile, the robot absorbs a substance called Xel from its enemies. Xel gives Beck temporary enhancements that amplifies power and speed.

Mighty No. 9 is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
