Shinjuku Station Celebrates Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary – See It Here

Square Enix marks the Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary and they are celebrating it in a unique way. While others would give away freebies or discounts, the game developer decided to do more than that.

A Memorial Stained Glass Clock will be installed in the Tokyo Metro Marunouchisen Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade from January 9 to 15, 2017. This is indeed a great way to celebrate the event since many would have the chance to take a glimpse of the said giant clock.

Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary Memorial Clock

The Memorial Stained Glass Clock has a huge “Sora Stained Glass” in the middle. It is surrounded by 12 smaller stained glass designs which stand for the clock dials, Siliconera reported.

Beside the giant clock is an 80-inch vertical display featuring a one minute Kingdom Hearts series flashback video. Aside from that, it also showcases the countdown for the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue which is set on January 12.

A visual memorial exhibition and giant mural will also be featured by Square Enix simultaneously. It will feature characters from the Kingdom Hearts series.

Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary Giveaway

Of course, the celebration won’t be complete without a giveaway. Hence, after the exhibit, Square Enix will be giving away the 13 stained glass pieces that were used to form the clock.

How can you join the giveaway? The steps are simple. One needs to follow @_KingdomHearts on Twitter and tweet at them the image of a certain stained glass from the campaign website. One could also take a picture of the actual exhibit and tweet it with the hashtag “#キングダムハーツ15周年”.

Doing that will give you a chance to win any of the 13 stained glass pieces that feature the different characters across the Kingdom Hearts series. Many would definitely love these exclusive items from Square Enix.
