[Watch] Lego City Undercover Trailer: Vehicles, Disguises & More

Lego City Undercover is almost here! The original Wii U gets a new trailer. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest title from TT Fusion.

Chase McCain in Lego City Undercover

Chase Mccain stars in Lego City Undercovera police officer who went undercover to capture Rex Fury. Fury is a criminal who wreaks havoc in the peaceful community of Lego City. Furthermore, Mayor Gleeson leaves the catching to Chase hoping that he’ll bring justice just like what he did in the past. He calls on the help of his girlfriend named Natalia Kowalski to bring Fury back to Albatross Prison.

Lego City Undercover used to be a Wii U exclusive. However, Nintendo might have seen some potential in the title and added it to the roster of confirmed titles for the Switch. Even more, the game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on its relaunch.

Gameplay, Vehicles and Disguises

In the trailer, Chase is seen riding a lot of vehicles including a police car, a jetski, motorcycle, and a truck. Further, he also took a pink feminine vehicle, and a sports car in the teaser.

Undercover resembles the gameplay of Grand Theft Auto. However, roles are reversed because players will take in the role of Chase instead of being the criminals plotting the heist, and stealing. True to the comedic flare of the Lego films, the developers also injected jokes and comedy in the game.

The sneak preview teased some of Chase’s disguises. For instance he was seen dressed as a cowboy, a pizza delivery boy, and an office employee. Next, it will be hard to not notice some hilarious movie references in the game. In the meantime expect witty Lego antics in the likes of lost pigs to rescue, and mischievous aliens to capture.

Of course, players will be given a chance to get new collectibles in the game. Lego City Undercover for Wii U will be relaunched for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring 2017. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to know more about video games, tech, and more.
