Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil 7. It gives a glimpse of what to expect in the next installment of the gut-wrenching franchise. It features scenes from the Baker family enclave, and some terrible acts they are about to do in the game.
Resident Evil 7 Trailer
Less than two weeks away from release, the live-action trailer echoes the idea that the Bakers are not just the average psychopath family, they also eat people. Cannibals, for short. Furthermore, the latest teaser showed a preview of the clan’s cannibalistic acts. It showed protagonist Ethan Winters attending a crazy dinner against his will, which shows slabs of meat laid on the dining table. In addition, the newest sneak peek for Resident Evil 7 shows a disconnected human hand displayed amongst other strange meat. There are also some bones that might be taken out of a human body. Meanwhile, the preview cuts to a look at the family’s nasty kitchen. The trailer also shows a glimpse of the plantation in a quick second. What makes the peek interesting is the preview of a mattress, with a set of keys and an unorganized rope lying in the middle of the bed. Further, it suggests that the Bakers restrained a victim at some point. This also hints that there will be life-or-death challenges in the game.
In the meantime, other scenes depict snapshots of the Beginning Hour demo. Some of the teasers look very similar to the rooms that were featured in the demo, including the decorations, wallpaper, and junk spread disarrayed in the room. Such as the cut where the mannequins are seen. Next, a transition showing a telephone left off the hook. There are speculations that this may be a hit that there are challenges involving the phone in the game.
Ultimately, the sneak peek ends with a slamming door. It transitions to a call for the fans to pre-order RE7. Hopefully, the boost in Capcom’s pre-order deals will entice other gamers who are on the fence to pre-order the game soon. US players who purchased the game in advance are given a free copy of the Resident Evil: Retribution film on top of other bonuses.
Resident Evil 7 will be available on January 24 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Virtual Reality (VR), and Xbox One. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
