Electronic Arts DICE revealed a new sales promotion for Battlefield 1. Players who buy the $50 premium pass will receive a ton of free upgrades from the game’s Deluxe edition.
New Season Pass
There is a lot of new content in the Battlefield 1 Season Pass. Furthermore, there are the Red Baron Pack and Lawrence of Arabia Pack, as well as five Battlepacks and three vehicle skins to be expected. The Red Baron and Lawrence of Arabia contain various themed items such as the Red Baron’s P08 pistol and Lawrence of Arabia’s black stallion horse, among other great features.
Battlefield 1 Deluxe edition items can be unlocked once. This may be bad news for some players! The offer is not extended to users who bought it in the past. For first timers, there’s still a lot of time because the deal expires on March 15.
It is important to note that the deal varies from every country and platform. Check out the links to the premium pass and Deluxe edition upgrade bundles below:
They Shall Not Pass Expansion Pack
Meanwhile, the game’s first paid expansion called They Shall Not Pass is slated to come out in March. Last week, EA DICE shared all the contents of the expansion pack. This includes four new maps, more powerful weapons, a new mode, and more. There will be at least four new expansions for the game, all of which can be seen in the premium pass.
The Red Baron Pack includes a vehicle package containing the Red Baron’s Triplane. Furthermore, the Red Baron’s P08 pistol is included as mentioned above, along with a Flyer Pin. Next is the Lawrence of Arabia Pack; aside from the black stallion, there is a Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) weapon added to the pack. Even more, Lawrence of Arabia’s emblem can be seen together with a melee called Jambiya.
The Hellfighter Pack includes a trench shotgun, a Hellfigher M1911 sidearm, bolo knife, and of course, the official insignia. Moreover, a new visual appearance of the Behemoths can be seen. This pack contains a frontline camouflage train, night raid airship, and dazzle camouflage dreadnought.
The game was the best-selling retail title in the UK in its first week of release. The game’s launch week sales surpassed the combined sales of both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. The PlayStation 4 version reached the top in Japan’s sales charts, selling 113,083 copies in its first week alone. As of January 18, 2017, the PlayStation 4 version has sold a whopping 249,053 copies in Japan.
Battlefield 1 is now available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
