CES 2017 Nvidia New Laptops: GeForce GTX 1050 Price & Specs

There had been speculations about the possible releases for CES 2017 Nvidia. This includes processors, mobile phones and others. Apparently, this is an event that tech lovers had been anticipating. Now the long wait is over as Nvidia reveals GeForce 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 for gaming laptops.

According to PCWorld, the new releases can be considered budget gaming champions. This statement is based on the impressive features of the said graphic cards which provide a different level of gaming experience.

CES 2017 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Specs

IGN noted that these will deliver the same gaming experience which has all the features associated with the Pascal CPU. The features include GPU overlocking, DirectX 12, Ansel screenshots, G-Sync, and the Nvidia GeForce Experience. Its 16nm architecture also supports 1080 gaming at 60 fps and some AAA games.

These also support Nvidia’s new BatteryBoost technology which offers up to 30 percent more endurance compared to Maxwell-based laptops. It has a “User-Defined Maximum Frame Rate” feature which allows you to adjust your frame rate for energy efficiency and custom On-Battery settings.

There are over 30 laptop designs which will use the 1050 and 1050 Ti cards that will ship in the first three months. This includes laptops from Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.

Prices of gaming laptops that will use said GPU is around the $700 price range. Among the manufacturers that already announced their models with the GeForce 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 are Dell Inspiron 7000, three Alienware models which come in 13″, 15″ and 17″ sizes, and Lenovo units.

Nvidia is a manufacturer of graphics processor technologies for computing, consumer electronics, and mobile devices. It has been used in many netbooks and laptops of various brands. To date, their product is one of the most trusted when it comes to graphics processors.
