Death Stranding Release Date: Kojima Hints Spoilers In New Tweet – See It Here

Kojima Productions has remained quiet as to the details and concept about its anticipated game, Death Stranding. Lead Designer Hideo Kojima had posted a teaser about the upcoming game on his official Twitter account.

Kojima recently tweeted a picture of toys that looked like his character, Mads Mikkelsen, in Death Stranding. It depicted a scene where Mikkelsen was standing over a baby similar to one Norman Reedus was holding the reveal trailer.

It also showed Mikkelsen’s figure laying outside a yellow submarine. The lead designer definitely likes teasing his fans through small details like these. It might just be one of his ways of having fun with them before the release of Death Stranding.

Although it might look like a joke, the veteran designer assured his fans that he is not playing around. He actually said that the pictures he posted were part of his job. It could mean that he is hinting an actual scene that will happen in the game.

Norman Reedus Involvement

Before Kojima decided to part ways with Konami, he was about to lead a project involving Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro. Konami initially planned a new Silent Hills game that will involve The Walking Dead actor and the Mexican director.

According to the US PS Blog, when the Metal Gear series designer became independent, he already saw Reedus playing as the main character of his next game. His company would use The Walking Dead actor as the model for the protagonist of the title.

GamingBolt also reported that Reedus became a huge motivation for the Kojima Productions director when he was conceptualizing his game. He would work with the same people that he used to work with while he was still under Konami.

Other Hollywood Actors

Kojima believes that games featuring a Hollywood actor would soon rise to popularity. He mentioned how creating movies and creating games have the same process. This opened the question whether or not they would involve other actors as well.

The Kojima Productions founder remained quiet as the involvement of other stars aside from Reedus. He remained noncommittal since he has not yet revealed a lot of details about the game which could mean that its unlikely the title is hitting the shelves soon.

Publishers Sony Interactive Entertainment will release the game for the PlayStation 4. Although no official date has been revealed, speculations show that it might come out early 2018, a year before the movie Akira will premiere.
