Square Enix adds a new game in mobile. Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia will be featured in smartphones this year.
All about Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia
The game is loosely based on the world of Dissidia on arcade. The former game revolves around the story of two gods. Cosmos, the goddess of harmony, and Chaos, the god of discord embarks on a mission to restore balance in their domain.
It will feature a command-based combat system. Furthermore, Brave attacks and Hit Point Attacks will be included as choices for the players in the game.
Characters In The Game
Meanwhile, characters from other Final Fantasy titles will appear in the mobile game. Even more, Square Enix successfully gathered the actors who lent their voice to the characters, thus elevating the experience for the players when they hear their favorite characters’ voices. They will be given different abilities based on their own characteristic powers. It is essential to strategize because the abilities are limited while in battle. Furthermore, Square Enix will release a multitude of expansions, stages, and character rosters once the mobile game is released.
The complete list of characters from other Final Fantasy titles has not been revealed. However, Square Enix confirms that fans will not be disappointed once it is revealed.
A screenshot of the battle screen shows the enemies distributed above the status. Meanwhile, the icons near the enemy’s hit points can be seen. This gives the players ample information to strategize their moves in the game.
Aside from Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, other games released in mobile are Final Fantasy Brave Exvius which was released for iOS and Android last June. Meanwhile, Mobius Final Fantasy was launched for iOS and Android last August.
Exvius features Rain and Lasswell as they embark on a quest to save the world. In addition, Mobius Final Fantasy lets the gamers become a Warrior of Light to protect the world from evil.
It seems the developers have a lot on their plate. Square Enix apologized for the delay of the release to early 2017. Luckily, the company plans to unleash new characters and content for the fans to enjoy. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
