Dollhouse PS4 is a narrative horror game from Creazn Studio. It is planned for release in early 2017, and will launch worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PC. Take a look at the details of the game here.
What Is Dollhouse?
Dollhouse PS4 is a horror game that pays tribute to 1950’s film noir. Furthermore, the game has an intricate Stephen King-like story that utilizes suspense rather than jump scares. It is self-constructing, and immerses players in a world that is affected by their decisions.
Craft Your Own Story
The story of Dollhouse PS4 puts focus inside the mind of Marie, a detective trying to uncover her past. Players can use the help of a big cast of characters to progress further into the character’s mind. Even more, they can create their own experience by choosing which direction to take in the game.
Players can craft their own story in Dollhouse PS4. The game’s style allows gamers to experience a world with a ‘noir’ 1950’s environment. Dollhouse features 14 different characters, all with different stories and abilities. Dollhouse has a single player campaign mode and also features a five player versus multiplayer environment. Here, the player is the dominant persona in the current mind.
All About Creazn Studio’s New Game
Dollhouse is a product of a viral marketing scheme. Production Studio Fox began asking visitors to its website to Save Hazel! in early February, 2009. Here, participants needed to watch a video of a young woman exploring the use of items in a shipping capsule as it closed on her. Eventually, they could upload their own videos to help her escape. User participation had a direct impact on the the story, as Hazel responded to personal messages and obeyed users’ suggestions in exploring her environment. The story’s connection to Dollhouse is clear and well-developed.
Concept Of Dollhouse
The storyline of Dollhouse is linked to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde. Dr. Rose experiments on her daughter to help cure her psychological problems and eliminate her bad side. This can be compared to how Dr. Jekyll tried to create a potion to separate the good and evil natures of a human.
Similarly, the Alliance in Joss Whedon’s Firefly also encountered problems while trying to use science to make people better. So far, this development has not been explored in Dollhouse, as the technology used to make the dolls into perfect people for their clients, but not to make a higher class of human beings, is not yet available.
Dollhouse is currently under development for PlayStation 4 and PC. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
