Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood Expansion: Red Mage, New Alliance Raid & More

The Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood Expansion has been creating huge excitement for quite some time now. Square Enix has already informed that the Red Mage will be a new job brought to this popular game.

The Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood Expansion will get the DPS (Damage Per Second) Role of Red Mage. This new job will debut in the form of a ranged magic DPS. There will be a magical crystal medium and rapier wielded. There will be added mobility for this attacker.

Silicon Era reports that the Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood expansion will see the Red Mage diving in and out of combat. Enemies will be combated with short ranged thrusts and red magic. The Red Mage can also combine several spells with one chainspell.

Other Benefits of the Red Mage

This will damage enemies hugely along with the follow-up melee attacks. The Swimming and Diving game play mechanism will lead to several benefits. This will enable seamless entry and traversing of particular rivers, seas and lakes.

This can be done in both existing and new zones. Players can also get into underwater diving across selected locations. This will be possible even with flying mounts. Underwater zones will get new locations for gathering. These will also facilitate NPC interaction as well.

The Ananta female beast tribe will be a new induction into the game. This tribe will be based in the mountains close to Ala Mhigo. The tribe will worship primal Lakshmi as well. The Lamia will play a key role in the proceedings.

What Else to Expect

Their persecution at the hands of the Garlean Empire will also come to the fore. The game was announced as a high level raid series. The Bend of Time- Omega will now be the high level raid in the game.

There will be a new alliance raid which has been designed by two guest creators. This is named Return to Ivalice as per TSA.
