Final Fantasy 15 Update: What To Expect From FF14 Collab

Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 14 collaboration? Yes, this might just be the next happening to be presented to the fans by Square Enix.

Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 14 Fusion

Square Enix’s director and designer Naoki Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-P, shared his thoughts via an interview by 4Gamer. Meanwhile, Yoshi-P mentioned that a joint effort between the two well-loved games is as easy as throwing in a Noctis costume in the game. However, the director wants to do more than that.

Yoshida stressed that to make a partnership between Final Fantasy 14 and 15, it is necessary to sit down with the team’s organizers to effectively fuse the character traits, scenario, speech in the game. Both parties need ample time to understand key elements in both games. He mentioned that a collaboration is perfect at this moment because of the recent release of the fifteenth installment. But the director said that this is far from their priorities as of the moment.

In addition, the Lightning series came into place naturally. He wants the same instance to happen in a Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 14 event. For instance, the Light Warriors and Noctis of FF15 for some reason find themselves lost in the land of Eorza. That is one of the scenarios that will make them consider a partnership.

Other Final Fantasy Events

Some of the most memorable collaborations with the Final Fantasy franchise is the game’s partnership with Puzzles & Dragons. It features Tifa Lockhart from the seventh installment, Noctis Lucis Caelum from the fifteenth installment of the franchiseand General Glauca from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy. Also added are Auron, Onion Knight, Penelo, and Y’shtola Rhul.

Yoshida is the head of Square Enix’s Business Division. He is part of the Final Fantasy committee and is the brains behind Dragon Quest 10. The director started his amazing career at Hudson Soft. He used to create PC engine games for the outfit. Furthermore, he designed the famous Bomberman series.

Final Fantasy 14 is now available on PlayStation 3., PlayStation 4, and PC. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy 15 is available for Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
