Final Fantasy 7 Remake stars Cloud and Sephiroth will be heading to the iOS and Android first for Mobius Final Fantasy. It appears this will be their first official appearance prior to the Remake. However, just what will be their role in the story?
Recent interviews have revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will not have a release date yet. However, fans of Final Fantasy 7 can still get their Cloud and Sephiroth fix with the launch of Mobius Final Fantasy. It seems the two characters will have an integral part in the game’s plot.
The addition of the two Final Fantasy 7 Remake characters will surely tug the hearts of a lot of Final Fantasy fans. Sephiroth served as the main antagonist of the hit game, with Cloud the constant man to face him and save the world. It seems the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy 7 is still influencing a ton of Square Enix releases.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Crossovers, Role in Story
The news came courtesy of Destructoid, which revealed that the two have just made their cameos in the game. This means not a lot was shown about their roles in the title. However, their arrival itself is interesting as this is not the first time Cloud and Sephiroth appeared in another game save for their own.
It can be remembered that the two served as stars in the fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy as well. The two also had cameos in Kingdom Hearts. Their roles in the new mobile Final Fantasy game can pave way through an interesting take on its unique story.
Although Square Enix has not made any confirmation yet, Cloud and Sephiroth may pave way to the arrival of other Final Fantasy characters in the game. After all, the first familiar character fans will see in the game is Garland, the main antagonist of the first Final Fantasy game. It can be remembered that the first Final Fantasy game also starred a Warrior of Light.
