Forza Horizon 3 PC isn’t hitting the brakes yet. Players, shift to third gear as an update may have leaked new vehicles in the game.
Fans of the hit racing franchise have just strapped on to their seatbelts to get a rush of the extremely fast cars and the nice tunes. However, an update may have gotten players more than what they expected.
Players who downloaded the update for the PC may discover a 53GB unencrypted build of the game. This is a developer’s build, revealing a ton of unannounced vehicles.
Forza Horizon 3 PC: Hottest Cars, Hottest Tracks
This Forza Horizon 3 PC .37.2 build came with a developer’s build that prompted users to download the game again. This is a bit fishy, as updates only need to be updated as they are. By the time they got the build, debug texts were all around the place and a very large cars folder was in their midst.
According to folks on NeoGAF and Reddit, there are quite a lot of new cars in the game. The full list includes old models such as the 1932 Ford De-Luxe Three Window Coupe. There are also newer ones such as the 2016 Lotus 3-Eleven. There are even 18 other Porsche vehicles, hinting towards a Porsche DLC.
New Features, New Cars?
However, players are advised not to make new save files, as they will be corrupted. Community manager Brian Ekberg shed light to the issue on the forums.
He said players should stick to the .35.2 build instead of the .37.2. Players are extremely advised to create new saves on the unintentional update as the files will be corrupted. Gamers are safe as long as they have save files for .35.2 and haven’t made one on the new version.
Sadly, this means the whole slew of updates on the game are not yet close to complete, and fans are looking for more. Newcomers to the game can check out this sweet trailer.
