With less than a month to go, Persona 5 will be making its way to the west two years after its release in Japan. North American Publisher Atlus has revealed information about future downloadable contents (DLC).
The DLC would contain costume packs, additional background music, and characters and summons from Catherine, another Atlus title. According to GameSpot, all the DLCs listed at the official site of the publishers would come out one month after the Persona 5 release.
Most DLCs listed include sets for different characters and Atlus might add more as the Persona 5 release date is nearing. According to Atlus, the DLCs currently listed at their site include:
- Catherine Costume and BGM Special Set
- Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro Set
- Persona 4 Costume and BGM Special Set
- Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Costume and BGM Special Set
- Persona 5 Swimsuit Set
- Persona 4: Dancing All Night Costume and BGM Special Set
- Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Costume and BGM Special Set
- Persona 2 Costume and BGM Special Set
- Shin Megami Tensei IV Costume and BGM Special Set
- Orpheus and Orpheus Picaro Set
- Thanatos and Thanatos Picaro Set
- Persona 3 Costume and BGM Special Set
- Kaguya and Kaguya Picaro Set
Atlus to Release DLC Bundles
The DLC bundles have the price range from free, like the Swimsuit Set, up to US$7, multiple packs which include Persona 2, Persona 3, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Catherine Costume Sets. The international price is currently unknown since Deep Silver will publish the game in Europe and Australia.
Aside from the constant DLC updates, developers have already uploaded several trailers for the game. One of the new videos focuses on the new Velvet Room Wardens Caroline and Justine.
The trailer revealed Igor, the proprietor of the Velvet Room and his new assistants, Caroline and Justine. Players can manage and fuse their Personas in the said room which the video also showcased.
Alongside the Velvet Room trailer, developers also released a sizzle trailer to hype up the title. The video included some of the cinematics players would encounter in the game.
It also included glimpses of gameplay and mini-games that players would see in the game. Mini-games include battling cages, button-mashing game, combat, life at school, and more.
Meanwhile, the previous trailer focused on Palaces which are dungeons in the game. It showed how the game would play out when in specific places and how players can go against enemies. The game will come out on April 4, 2017, for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 after its delay in November.
