Game Of Thrones Season 7 Conor McGregor Role Confirmed! ‘Glad He Did It’ Says UFC

Game of Thrones is the biggest, most popular and the most talked about series is recent history. The fraction of those who have not seen it is so little that it would almost feel like a shame not to.

Gearing towards its last two seasons, Game of Thrones Season 7 is the most awaited series next year. It does not need any kind of gimmick nor additional promos as people would watch it as it is thanks to its awesome previous seasons. However, the addition of a UFC Champion in the mix surely gives it an added kick.

UFC Champion Conor McGregor’s involvement with Game of Thrones used to be just a rumor. But the rumor is now a reality as it was confirmed by none other than UFC President Dana White.

White said he knew that HBO was already interested in putting him on the show few months ago. According to Independent, one of the directors of the hit TV series is a huge fan of UFC. White further said that he is glad that McGregor did it and that he is excited for him.

McGregor’s role in the upcoming Game of Thrones season 7 has not been revealed yet (and probably would not be until the airing of the series). However, according to a report by Cinemablend, McGregor would unlikely be at the forefront of any major stories. There is no guarantee that he will even throw a line or two.

It can be remembered that a famous and impressive Game of Thrones impersonator on YouTube landed a small role on season 6. His airtime was short as The Hound axed his head few seconds after his solo frame. But considering that McGregor is a bigger name, he may be given more airtime.

In addition, he hardly needs major makeover nor even make up as his Irish features completely puts him right in the Seven Kingdoms.
