Gravity Rush 2: 5 Facts & Upgrades You Need To Know

Gravity Rush 2 is set for release on Wednesday. If this is the first time you’re going to play the game, then you’ve come to the right place because we have every basic thing you need to know before getting started.

Gravity Rush 2 continues the story of Kat who was also the lead in the previous game. Here, we’ll have essential upgrades for her as well as facts in this new story you’re about take on.

These tidbits include what to expect for upgrades, gear updates and more. Here are 5 facts and upgrades you’ll need to know when you play Gravity Rush 2:

1. Setting

The game has Kat and Raven in the aerial city of Hekseville. The city is undergoing major reconstruction after a former mayor known as D’nelica caused a weapons incident. This has Kat, Raven and a police officer discover a gravity disturbance.

The three are then caught in a gravity storm which transports them to another place known as Banga Village. Here, Kat and her friends will explore the causes of these gravitational disturbances and try to save the world.

2. Cheapest Upgrade

One of the cheapest upgrades you will need in this game is the Statis Field Boost. This only costs 400 gems and will let you be able to hold 3 objects at a time.

This might not seem very important. But when you’re playing this second Gravity Rush game, you’ll be dealing with several side missions that has you using Statis Field. By using this, it can help you accomplish your missions faster.

3. Gravity Guage Recovery Boost

Running out of gravity power can be a huge disadvantage especially when you’re fighting off enemies. Replenish your Gravity Guage by dodging attacks from your enemies. This will help you save gravity power, especially since you’ll also be dealing with a map larger than the first game.

4. Pre Order To Get A Bonus

If you pre-order the game, you’ll get a few bonuses: a select soundtrack and a special set of outfits for Kat. This allows you to choose different color options for Kat to play in during the game.

5. Animated Episodes

There are animated episodes that take place between the two games which you can watch below. This helps understand what went on before the second game happens.
