The downloadable content (DLC) for Star Wars Battlefront is out now. Known as the Death Star, players now have access to the free DLC this weekend and earn double points.
Players can access the DLC for free from December 23 to December 25. Moreover, they are given a one-time bonus of 5,000 whopping credits. All they need to do is login in the game. In addition, Electronic Arts (EA) Games also gave users double points aside from accessing the expansion for free.
What’s In The Star Wars DLC Expansion
The Death Star has new multiplayer maps, breaking new ground for exploration in Battlefront. The new multiplayer maps added in the game are Imperial Blockade, Command Sector, Death Star Surface, Defense Sector and Power Sector.
Furthermore, there are new weapons and Stayor Cards included in the DLC. The Medical Droid sends out a healing pulse every three seconds, restoring energy of the players. Also, the Laser Trip Mine which explodes every time an enemy crosses it. The mine also disrupts the enemy’s radar when it is closer to the Star Card.
There’s a new addition to the game modes as well. Battle Station has three phases, where rebels plot to attack the Imperial Star Destroyer. At length, the rebels hope to rescue R2-D2 with the help of Luke Skywalker.
Next, additional weapons are also in the Star Wars Battlefront DLC. These are the TL-50 heavy repeater, as well as the K-16 Bryar Pistol. Both weapons are equally powerful and equipped with secondary fire abilities.
Fans of Bossk and Chewbacca will be happy to know that the well loved characters are included in the DLC. Bossk can regenerate lost health after losing energy due to battling enemy soldiers. Meanwhile, Chewbacca increases the number of bolts dispersed via the Bowcaster. The rest of the content can be found in Star Wars EA page.
