Scream Queens Season 2 episode 9 is one of the season’s weakest.
As reported by TV Fanatic, Scream Queens Season 2 episode 9 got low on its ranks. On Traveler’s Today, the TV series would not be renewed for season 3 due to poor ratings based on rumors. The average audience of the show in a week is not even higher than one million viewers, thus being the lowest-rated series by Fox.
On Scream Queens Season 2 episode 9, Lovin the D, the Chanels were surprised by their favorite TV personality, Dr. Scarlett Lovin, played by Brooke Shields.
Wes Gardner (played by Oliver Hudson), Nurse Hoffel (played by Kristie Alley) and Dr. Cassidy Cascade (played by Taylor Lautner) listed out the names of the people they have killed so far. They have voted that Nurse Hoffel would be the one to kill the Chanels. But, Wes insisted because he blames Chanel for Grace’s (played by Skyler Samuel) mental illness.
Wes pours cyanide in Chanel’s coffee cup. But Dr. Lovin drank the coffee and this caused Nurse Hoffel and Cassidy to turn against the third Meanie. He ended up dead after falling into a hot oil.
In Season 2 episode 10, the rest of the Meanies will be achieving their plan against the Chanels. Of course, viewers would still not know if they will be successful. In this episode entitled Drain The Swamp shows: “The Green Meanie sets its final plan for revenge in motion as Hester makes a bold move to secure her future, and Brock performs a dangerous surgery to save Dean Munsch’s life.”
Scream Queens Season 3 Cancelled?
In an article by Morning News USA, the premiere of Scream Queens managed to garner about 2.4 million views. Although it started off strong, the ratings for the preceding episodes have dropped to an all-time low.
TV Line reported that the viewership went down by a full 50 percent from its Season 2 opener.
Due to the show’s low rating, rumor has it that Scream Queens will not proceed with a 3rd season.
But others speculate that Lea Michele might be able to help the show increase the ratings and stop it from being cancelled. Sources say that fans loved her role as the psychopathic Hester Ulrich or Chanel No. 6 in Season 2.
Nevertheless, sources say that Season 2 had a stronger start than the previous season, with positive reviews from both viewers and critics.
Amidst the rumors, there still has been no confirmation on whether or not a Season 3 of the show is on the works. This will all depend on the ratings for the show’s present season.
