Justice Monsters Five Shut Down By Square Enix – Full Story Here

Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd has announced that Justice Monsters Five will be shutting down next year, on March 27.

Square Enix –  the Japanese video game developer, known for creating Final Fantasy among others – has put a stop to the smartphone game of Justice Monsters Five next year. The game was a way to further expand the wonderful world on Final Fantasy 15.

Justice Monsters Five

This Final Fantasy smartphone game is a variant of a pinball game in the world of Final Fantasy 15. This game is one which Noctis and his friends enjoy playing. The game has playable pinball tables in diners around Lucis. Players fight against the enemies and bosses, thus reducing their HP with shots and combo hits. As a result, the winner gets prizes composed of curative items or accessories such as bracelets and bangles. It was just recently revealed during the event on Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV last August 30, 2016. Not even a year has passed and Square Enix has decided to cancel the game.

Reason for Shut Down

There is no definite reason as to why Justice Monsters Five is being shut down. But previous reports state that the game had a good run. Back in April, more than 90,000 people had registered during the pre-registration period of the game.

Square Enix apologizes to the fans of both the game and Final Fantasy for any inconvenience that the stop may have caused. They have also disclosed that they will now stop selling the Gold Orbs used for micro-transactions starting this February 27, 2017. The company also shut down the game in good terms with their fans because they have promised to reimburse the Golden Orbs that the players failed to use due to this sudden closure.

A Windows 10 version has also been planned by the company. Due to the game’s cancellation, the Windows 10 version may not be released as well.

Square Enix, in the official announcement, said that they will be sharing further information soon. The company originally released the Final Fantasy pinball game on August 30, 2016.
