Is the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians being cancelled due to Kim spending too much time with Kanye because of his hospitalization?
TMZ reported that Kim Kardashian has halted the filming for KUWTK for the “rest of the year” following her robbery and Kanye’s hospitalization. The source claimed that the entire Kardashian family has decided to suspend the show through the end of the year into 2017. Possibly, even longer than New Year. This was sparked by Kim’s robbery incident. She was held at gunpoint in Paris on October 3.
Sources say that she is now “rethinking everything” about her future and her career and what she plans to do. The plans to continue filming through the holidays were dropped when husband Kanye West was hospitalized. According to the report, producers of the show said that there is enough footage for the series to be aired. They will not be shooting through the holidays.
However, E! on Tuesday dismissed reports that the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians has been cancelled. It slammed rumors of Kim spending too much time with Kanye because of his hospitalization. An E! spokeswoman told Newsday that the show is currently in production.
Kanye West Hospitalization
Kim is still recovering from the robbery and attack she suffered in Paris and even went off social media after. She was about to resume her public life last week in the New York Angel Ball, an event honoring her late father Robert Kardashian. However, she had to fly back to L.A. after Kanye was hospitalized due to exhaustion.
The rapper was allegedly scheduled for release on Monday, November 28, but TMZ said this was halted. Kanye was not released from UCLA Medical Center hospital because he has not fully recovered. Following his break down, doctors decided to keep him longer because he is “still not stable.”
Sites reports that he is suffering from extreme paranoia and even refused to let doctors touch him at one point during his hospitalization.
As for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the show’s 12th season premiered in May and has ran through November 20 with hiatus in early fall. E! has not announced when the season will continue following its current winter break. However, the show was renewed for its 13th season.
