Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of the highly anticipated games for PlayStation and Xbox One but it is still far from release. Despite the uncertain release date, a new update of the game recently surfaced about its possible new feature.
In an interview of director Tetsuya Nomura with Dengeki PlayStation as translated by affiliates of KH13, he revealed that there may be new customization options for KH 3. Said feature was first seen in Kingdom Hearts 2.8.
It can be recalled that Kingdom of Hearts 2.8 has a new feature dubbed as A Fragmentary Passage wherein players could customize the character’s look using various items that they get from the environment.
“I thought that we needed something fun to play around with even with the game’s jam-packed volume,” said Nomura. “It really changes the character’s look, so please gather a lot of items and design your own Aqua.”
Kingdom Hearts 3 Character Customization
Because the feature is available in KH 2.8, it is possible that character customization will also be used in KH 3. This is one thing that fans may have wanted for the game.
According to Nomura, they have to check the reaction of the gamers in Kingdom Hearts 2.8 with regard to the character customization before they decide to include it in KH 3. He added that there are other more important features to worry about, Digital Spy reported.
A New Look For Riku And Mikey
Apart from that, it was revealed that Riku and King Mikey will be getting new outfits. The two will play a huge role in the game as Sora, Donald and Goofy head to new Disney Worlds to look for the Seven Guardians of Light.
In the said installment, Riku and King Mickey will be tasked to search for a battle-scarred Keyblade wielder. This is important for the upcoming Keyblade War against Master Xehanort and the Organization XIII.
KH 3 is currently in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
