Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption are just some of the most popular games brought to the players by Rockstar Games. Grand Theft Auto alone is a blockbuster hit, selling millions of copies, while Red Dead Redemption is slowly gaining its solid footing in the game industry. Now, the game giant brings another old favorite to the limelight with the LA Noire Game.
What Is The LA Noire Game?
LA Noire is a classic 1940’s crime drama. Gamers play the role of a cop who desperately tries to work his way up the ranks. Though it didn’t have the widespread popularity and sales number of Grand Theft Auto, the LA Noire game received critical acclaim. The original team that worked on this crime adventure game already closed down. However, Rockstar owns the intellectual property rights to the series.
Though the studio announced that LA Noire game will be relaunched for the Nintendo Switch, it is unclear whether the game giant did a few tweaks in the crime drama. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the new Switch game is a sequel, or a spinoff. However, it might be a port or remaster of the original version. There had been speculations saying that it is indeed a remastered version of the crime drama set in the streets of Los Angeles. Even more, they didn’t provide more details. While Rockstar games have been known to keep silent regarding details of their new games, it is expected that they’ll do the same for LA Noire.
LA Noire Gameplay
Looking at the gameplay of LA Noire for other gaming platforms, players are tasked to complete cases to advance in the story. Moreover, it features an open world that allows players to roam freely and solve challenges. Lastly, it features landmarks reminiscent of the monuments from 1940s Los Angeles.
Players progress from patrolman, and then work up to the department of Traffic, Vice, Arson, and Homicide. The game assigns a new partner. They in turn help him investigate a number of cases depending on the crime. There is a possibility that the Nintendo Switch version will follow the same gameplay elements when it is relaunched.
Rockstar Games presents LA Noire, which may be available for the Nintendo Switch. It is still available on PlayStation 3, Xbox, and PC. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech, and more.
