Mario Kart 8 deluxe artwork has just been made available. This hints at five unique battle types. These are now confirmed through the Battle Mode options.

Mario Kart 8 deluxe artwork is now being showcased courtesy of the organization. This clearly hints at around three other modes. The first two have already been mentioned earlier.

What are these modes?

Silicon Era reports that these modes may be Shine Thief or possibly Shine Runners, Coin Runners and a Piranha Plant mode. However, the latter may have a different name in a manner of speaking. The artwork and suggested modes are now creating huge excitement amongst fans.

The game is releasing on the 28th of April, 2017. It will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Insider reports that the version will have almost every Wii U version track.

This will include new courses for competing in the Battle Mode. These are Battle Stadium and Urchin Underpass. There will be new downloadable content available as well.

The character roster is getting three new vehicles along with other expansion moves. There will be Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl and King Boo. You can also expect Browser Junior and Dry Bones.

There will be Feather and Boo items along with a Smart Steering feature. This feature will help players stick to the track. They will not slip off even at 200 cc.

What Else Should You Know?

There will also be the ability to carry a couple of items simultaneously. The game will allow around four players to compete on TV screens. 8 players can compete over Local Wireless as well.

12 players can also compete in the online multiplayer mode. The game will exclusively released in Europe and North America.
