Mass Effect Andromeda will arrive on March 21 this year in North America and on March 23 this year in Europe. The platforms will be PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This action role-playing third-person shooter game by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts (EA) is the next series to Mass Effect 3 released back in 2013.
Mass Effect Andromeda was announced on June 15 back in 2015 during the E3 2015, an EA press conference. This will be the first game in the series which can be played in an open environment. BioWare is now set to launch a 10-hour trial for the game. This will be available before the release of the game on March 16.
In Mass Effect Andromeda, players get to take on the role of either Sara or Scott Ryder from a third-person point of view. Players can customize the names and physical appearance of the Ryders. They can also opt to assign their preferred skill set for their characters.
In the upcoming BioWare game, players navigate the galaxy of Andromeda through a ship called The Tempest. On a planet, players have the quests of fighting off enemies in bases. The Nomad, an all-terrain vehicle, can be used in exploring the planets. Every planet has a boss that a player needs to defeat. Players can also develop romance and friendships with other characters in The Tempest. This may be done by talking to them or completing missions to gain their loyalty.
As announced in the EA website, the Mass Effect Andromeda game trial is available for EA or Origin Access subscribers. This will be launched on March 16. The trial can only be played within a span of 10 hours. Whatever progress a player obtains during the trial can be carried over to the full game upon its release 5 or 7 days after the release of the trial. The full game can also be bought for a discounted price of less than 10 percent if players avail the trial. BioWare will also release a multiplayer beta across the game’s platforms, but no exact details have been revealed yet. Further information may be released before this month ends.
