BioWare has officially announced that Mass Effect Andromeda would be showcased at the incoming NVIDIA’s CES Keynote 2017.
The NVIDIA’s CES Keynote 2017 event would take place early next year, the 4th of January. At around 6:30 p.m. PST. No other details from BioWare regarding the game have been given yet, as they would obviously be unveiled during the NVIDIA’s CES Keynote 2017 event itself. So Mass Effect fans who are excited to learn more about the upcoming game, and could attend the NVIDIA’s CES Keynote 2017 event should not hesitate to do so. More footage and other details such as gameplay are expected to be shown during the event.
Mass Effect Andromeda update on the Release Date
The estimated launch date for the upcoming Mass Effect game is estimated to be around Q1/Q2 2017 worldwide. BioWare is still somewhat elusive in giving an exact month and date for the latest Mass Effect game. BioWare appears to be avoiding giving a specific release date until they are confident that there would be no further delays and such, which would just disappoint Mass Effect fans more.
Hopefully, BioWare would finally announce a less vague date this upcoming NVIDIA’s CES Keynote 2017 event. The upcoming game was first announced June 15, 2015 during the E3 event.
Mass Effect Novels to be released 2017
A Mass Effect novel trilogy is scheduled for release next year. The novels would be based on the upcoming Andromeda. The upcoming trilogy of novels would be published by Titan Books in collaboration with BioWare. So anyone who is familiar with their other works would have an idea of what to expect. The novels are said to be intricately tied up to the storyline of the game, and not some out-of-place spin-off. The novels, if not at least one of the novels, are scheduled for release March 28, 2017.
The release date for the novel has also lead to some speculations that the release date for the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda would be at the same time. However, it is best to wait for official confirmation than just relying on speculation and rumors.
