N7 has a lot of things to offer Mass Effect fans. Aside from a Mass Effect Andromeda release date, N7 has more news for gamers. It seems the game won’t have a Season Pass, but it will have a lot of downloadable content (DLCs).
BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn has a lot of news for N7 fans, especially with its hit game almost reaching its release date. The Mass Effect Andromeda release date has been highly anticipated. Given its announcement, fans are moving on to another prospect: DLCs.
The March 21 release date for the game is building quite a lot of excitement from the fans. Of course, it only makes sense for gamers to try finding out as much information on the game as possible. However, Aaryn Flynn’s response is surprising.
Mass Effect Andromeda Release Date: When, Where?
The game has just been announced to have a March 21, 2017 release date. This means the Mass Effect Andromeda release date has been in the works for a long time. Aaryn Flynn has also been very active in answering questions from fans and gamers.
One of the more recent answers he gave was from Twitter. A fan asked whether or not the game will have a Season Pass. His answer was a simple, “Nope,” but it had a lot of reactions. This is especially big news to gamers, given the state of the industry.
Fans can recognize that fans are on the hunt for ways to get as much revenue as possible. After all, a return of investment is needed in any industry. Games compensate for this using Season Passes for expansions. Others use microtransactions and even multiple editions.
When asked about the nature of DLCs, Flynn said these announcements would come later. However, the lack of Season Pass may be good news altogether. Still, fans will only know by the time the DLCs arrive for the game.

DLC Updates: For Free?
Another recent release from EA, Titanfall 2, doesn’t have a Season Pass. Respawn Entertainment, its developer, plans to release all of its DLCs for free. Whether or not BioWare will push through with the same move is still unknown. However, there’s nothing to indicate that there will be free releases after the post-launch of the game.
However, given the release date is already available, it seems its marketing team has been excited to work. According to Game Rant, there’s an entirely new trailer at CES that detailed the console resolutions of the game. Not to mention, Xbox One players can play the game if they have an EA Access membership.
Of course, fans can remember the rather famous backlash with the character animations during The Game Awards preview. However, the fact that the game is all set means there’s more to the game than just the animations alone.
