How much further can Xbox backwards compatibility games go? Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and will soon be available on Project Scorpio. But is it possible to have Xbox 360 games available on the PC too?
For now, reports say that Microsoft is bringing Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs. Though this is good news, many are also interested in Xbox 360 games on the PC as well. Will the Xbox backwards compatibility program cater to this?
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer had something to say about it. Read on below as to whether or not Xbox backwards compatibility games are headed to PC platforms soon.
Phil Spencer’s Response
Phil Spencer took to Twitter to respond to a fan’s inquiry regarding backwards compatibility titles on the PC. In his tweet, Spencer said that it would take a lot more work since the PC’s environment is more varied.

But Spencer didn’t rule it out entirely. In fact, he added, “Never say never,” which means Xbox is not closing its doors on this thought at all.
However, it does not look to be Microsoft’s priority at the moment. We could be seeing news of it in the future.
Lego Game Titles That Are Backwards Compatible
The month of January added 18 titles to their backwards compatibility roster and this February, it has added even more.
It has been officially announced that Lego Indiana Jones is now backwards compatible with Xbox One. Lego Indiana Jones joins the rest of the Lego series already available in the library. These are Lego Batman, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean.
Lego Indiana Jones is the first title announced this month. It was released back in 2008 and contains stories from The Last Crusade, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom.
You can download the game on Xbox’s official site and get it for $20. The game’s size is 5.53 GB. For those who already have Lego Indiana Jones on their Xbox 360, it will automatically show in your Xbox One library.
More than 300 Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One under the backwards compatibility program. Xbox One owners are hoping to see more titles released soon so they can play their favorite games once again.
