After the success of the recent Consumer Electronics Show, mobile enthusiasts are gearing up for what’s next. The Mobile World Congress 2017 is happening this February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona. It’s the world’s largest convention in the mobile industry and Lenovo is making waves with its upcoming launches.
Motorola, which was acquired by Lenovo in 2014, have recently sent out invites for their Hello Moto event on Feb 26 at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Not much information was revealed on the invite except for a time and date. But rumors have it that Motorola is releasing their Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones in this event.
Possible Specifications To Be Released At The Mobile World Congress 2017
According to reports, the Moto G5 and G5 Plus will be having the Android Nougat 7.0 If this report is true, then these phones will be the first ones to do so.

Along with the OS, the G5 plus is said to have a 5.5 inch display. The processor will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 and with a 3GB or 4GB RAM.
For the camera, the phones are rumored to have a rear camera with 13 MP or 16 MP. The front camera is along 5 MP and will have a dual flash feature. An internal storage of 16 or 32 GB is also expected.
Along with these details, leaked images of the phone also showed that there would be no USB Type C connection for the G5 Plus. This has surprised everyone since many expected these phones to have a specification mix.
The phones are rumored to cater to the low-end and mid-range segments. The Moto X is also expected to be introduced this year at the MWC.
