Nintendo Switch Pre-Orders Sold Out At GameStop

It has been predicted that the Nintendo Switch will sell like hotcakes. Indeed, it looks like it will, as GameStop reported that their pre-order stocks are already sold out.

Nintendo Switch Pre-Order Stocks Gone By The Minute

GameStop senior vice president of merchandising Bob Puzon said that the toy giant is working on acquiring more units. Puzon stressed that they will inform their customers as soon as they have acquired new stock.

GameStop is one of the leading retailers of game consoles, and video games. The toy giant also sold units of the Nintendo NES Classic, which was out immediately when they restocked during the holidays. Amazon might still have units, ranging from $299.99 a pop. In addition, Best Buy and Target also pre-sell units at $299.99. To know when the Switch arrives, sign up for notifications on their website.

The Nintendo Switch Console set includes the Switch console, the left and right Joy-Con controllers, the Switch Dock, the Joy-Con grip which is non-charging, an AC adapter, two Joy-Con straps, and an HDMI cable that will help players connect the new Nintendo entertainment system to the television. Even more, there are two different colors to choose from. The Gray version, and a Neon Version that bears multi-colored Joy-Cons. The left Joy-con is tinted blue, while the right is Joy-Con red.

Not happy with the colors? No worries, controllers can be purchased separately. If a gamer wants a coordinated look, they can get the controllers separately to fuse desired color combinations. The combination colors available are all red, all blue or a mix of both.
