Nintendo Switch Release Date Update: Treehouse Live Event To Focus On Game Lineup

Nintendo announced that a new event will be coming for its newest game console. This is to add to the anticipation of the Nintendo Switch release date.

Nintendo Switch January 13 Event

Aside from the January 12 happening, the game giant will be launching another event dedicated to its release. Furthermore,  it will happen hours later after the first Nintendo Switch gathering.

In addition, the Treehouse Live event will happen in the morning of Friday, January 13. It will go live at 6:30 AM Pacific time (PT)/ 9:30 AM Eastern time (ET). The studio is slated to reveal essential details of the Nintendo Switch. This includes the price, and a comprehensive lineup of games that will be launched alongside the console.

Meanwhile, the January 12 event will happen at 8:00 PM PT / 11:00 PM ET.

Titles To Be Launched With The Nintendo Switch Release Date

Some of the games that are rumored to launch with the Nintendo Switch are Lego City Undercover, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In addition, another version of Pokemon Sun and Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildand a new Mario game is speculated to launch alongside the Nintendo Switch.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Just Dance 2017, Dragon Quest 11, and a SuperSonic game will be released with the Switch. Hopefully, the title of the Sonic game will be revealed in the event.

Nintendo Switch Release Date

In April, the game giant announced that the Nintendo Switch will be coming in March 2017. The game platform breaks tradition by introducing this hybrid.

The Switch doubles as a console and portable gaming device in one. In addition, gamers can switch to the portable device by lifting a tablet-like device on the dock. Meanwhile, detachable controllers called Joy-Cons are included in the Switch. Users can plug it to the sides of the tablet or a Grip accessory much like a traditional controller.

It was confirmed that the Nintendo Switch will be powered by NVIDIA‘s Tegra processor. Furthermore, the monster chipset defies GeForce gaming graphics standards. This is a great addition to the much anticipated platform.
