No Man’s Sky Update 1.23: The Biggest Changes In Latest Patch

Hello Games released the No Man’s Sky update 1.23 for the PlayStation 4 and PC and it contained several changes in-game.  This is the second follow-up patch since the PathFinder update, which added PlayStation 4 Pro support, land-based vehicles, and other new features.

Although the PathFinder update included new content such as new shops and traders, it caused several bugs within the game. Developers released the No Man’s Sky update 1.23 as soon as possible in order to fix these discovered bugs.

FPS Lock Feature Enabled

One of the major features that Hello Games have included in the No Man’s Sky update 1.23 is the option to lock the PlayStation 4’s frame rate. The frame rate is now locked at a stable 30 frames-per-second (FPS), which will provide for a better gameplay.

There are PlayStation 4 players that experienced a drop in their frame rates especially because of the visual improvements made in No Man’s Sky. The latest update will, hopefully, make the game run faster with the optimized HBAO.

Other Changes in No Man’s Sky Update 1.23
