What is Pokemon Bank
Pokemon Bank allows deposit and transfer of Pokemon from multiple games. Furthermore, it includes previous generation Pokemon. With the update, players can transfer Pokemon from X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire to Sun and Moon via the Poke Bank app. They can use the companion app titled Poke Transporter to transfer Pokemon from the Virtual Console versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow to Poke Bank. Next, they can transfer to Sun and Moon.
Trainers will have to download the Pokémon Bank app again instead of just a patch. Moreover, the Poké Bank app takes 496 blocks of memory to download. Meanwhile, the Pokemon Transporter will take 420 blocks to download version 1.2. Going off the details revealed on the Hong Kong Pokémon website, every first generation Pokémon transferred to Sun and Moon will have their hidden ability.

Speaking of Mew, the Pokémon Company revealed that those who use Pokémon Bank from now until October 2 will receive the special Z-Crystal, Mewnium Z. The studio released a video to show off Lee using its special Z-Move.
Furthermore, to obtain the Mewnium Z, gamers must first have a subscription to Pokémon Bank. A one-year subscription is priced at $4.99. Next, they will have to open the app. Simply go and use the Pokémon Bank and the app to get a gift. Once done, they’ll receive the Mewnium Z. Now, they can transfer the item to Sun and Moon. It’s as simple as going to the nearest Pokémon Center and talking to the gentleman – he will ask if the gamer wants what was transferred.
Mew is one of the fictional species of creatures from Nintendo’s Pokémon media franchise. It is a small, pink, Psychic-type Mythical Pokémon. It was added by Game Freak programmer Shigeki Morimoto, as a secret character. As such, its presence has been surrounded by myths, which contributed to make the Pokémon franchise being well-loved. For years, Mew could not be obtained in the games except from Pokémon distribution events.
