The Nintendo Switch is a revolutionary hand-held console. It is a cross-over between a traditional console and a portable one. It can either be docked into your home devices to be played inside the house or be brought outside to be played with your friends.
After the first tease of the Nintendo Switch in October 2016 and its debut last December 7, 2016, it all boils down to when the Nintendo Switch release date would be. After four weeks of waiting, the Nintendo Switch release date may have been leaked.
When is the Nintendo Switch Release Date?
The release date for the Nintendo Switch console may possibly be on March 17 this year. This data has been leaked by an online listing on the website of a UK video game retailer named Game Seek.
How Much Would It Cost?
Game Seek also revealed the cost of the gaming console. According to the website, it will cost £198.50 or around 234 in US dollars.
However, fans should still be resilient because Game Seek is known for announcing temporary dates for games with unconfirmed release dates.
But, Nintendo did say in their financial results last year that the Nintendo Switch which was then codenamed Nintendo NX “is scheduled for launch in March of 2017.” They added that, “Its estimated hardware and software sales units are reflected in the financial forecast ending March 31, 2017…”
Nintendo may confirm all these details in its upcoming Treehouse Live event with Nintendo Switch on January 13 Eastern Standard Time (EST) at 9:30AM. At this event, Nintendo will also be announcing the lineup of the games that will be featured in the Nintendo Switch Presentation. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been confirmed when it was debuted together with the Nintendo Switch back in December. According to some rumors, a new Super Mario game may also be included in the list.
The Treehouse Live Event will be held after the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 event on January 12 at 11PM EST. You may watch the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 on January 12 live in YouTube or Twitch.
