Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 & Xbox One Release Date Confirmed

Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 & Xbox One confirmed, along with the release date and some expectations for the upcoming game. Unfortunately for PC owners, there is still no word for a PC release, even if it would most likely have one after the console versions.

Rockstar Games, famous for their Grand Theft Auto series, had so far released a few details regarding the open-world wild west game. Although a lot could be assumed from the officially released trailer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 & Xbox One Release Date

Rockstar Games had officially announced that the console versions are going to be released 2017 fall at the same time. Assuming no delays would possibly get in the way. If ever, a PC version would most likely be released the following year.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Main Character and Plot

Based on the released official image which depicts 7 cowboys walking from the sunset, it appears it would focus on a gang of outlaws this time around. Most likely, the player only gets to play as one of them, similar to how the first game is focused on former outlaw John Marston. Unless the player actually gets to choose which character whose role they should assume, if not, all are playable depending on the story segment.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Timeline and Setting

Based on the fact that the first game took place around 1911-1915, which serves as the final years for the old west era, it is just logical to assume that the sequel would actually be a prequel.

Game Modes

So far, a multiplayer mode has been announced by Rockstar Games.

The confirmation for the Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 & Xbox One release dates had also been reported in the Games Radar and Game N Guide websites.
