Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date & News: Far Cry 4’s Ethan Korver Joins Cast

Developer Rockstar Games has remained quiet as to the details regarding Red Dead Redemption 2, but Ethan Korver revealed his role in the upcoming game. Korver, known for his iconic roles of some the previously released games, had joined the cast of upcoming sequel of one of the most popular games released.

Korver previously took on the role of Eli in the State of Decay, Dolph in Far Cry 4, and Alexander in Just Cause 2. He took on the role of a cowboy in Red Dead Redemption 2 which is supposed to be uncredited.

The role that he had portrayed in Red Dead Redemption 2 is just a background character and is not the main one. Someone gave him credit for the main cast on IMDB despite not actually being one.

It is not the first time that he has played a background character in a game. He also had similar roles in other games like Ghost Recon: WildlandsCall of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Mafia 3.

According to GamingBolt, Rockstar Games will release the sequel to Red Dead Redemption sometime in Fall 2017. However, GameStop shows that the game would come out specifically on December 31, 2017. The game would come out both on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

How to Pre-Order

Rockstar Games had already opened its upcoming game for pre-order through its official website. The site would prompt those who want to pre-order to choose their country, preferred platform, and the retailer, Rockstar Warehouse or Gamestop.

Pre-ordering at Rockstar Games would cost US$59.99 or €69.99 and it would most likely deliver the game once they release it. It is available in eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, Portuguese, and Polish. Each person can only order a maximum of four.

Meanwhile, GameStop will sell the game for the same price and those who will buy the game can pick it up at a verified store. GameStop also ships to those who living in the United States. Interested buyers can sign in with the Rockstar Mailing List for the official announcements made about the game.

Rockstar Games is also known for its other game titles such as Grand Theft AutoMidnight ClubMax Payne, and Manhunt. It recently included Grand Theft Auto 4 and Episodes From Liberty City into the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program.

It also introduced the import and export feature in Grand Theft Auto Online. Meanwhile, it released Bully: Anniversary Edition both for iOS and Android on mobile devices.
