Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date

The game giant officially announced that Red Dead Redemption release date will be in Fall 2017. The outlaw’s next adventure is set in America’s unforgiving heartland. The regions, swamps, and vast lands in the trailer hint that the game is rumored to be set in the Far West.

Redemption 2 will be released with a  multiplayer game mode. The game will be released for Xbox One, Playstation 4.

Map Leaks And Gameplay Elements

Is John Marston still alive? Fans are intrigued by the appearance of a character in the trailer who is reminiscent of John Marston. There are speculations that the characters in the artwork are Dutch’s gang, a group mentioned in the first game that includes Marston and Bill Williamson among others.

Moreover, excited fans took the time to compare the silhouettes and the similarities are uncanny, thus strengthening the predictions that the upcoming game is indeed a prequel.

Furthermore, hunting is most likely going to be back in the game. The vast landscape brimming with wildlife hinted that this skill will be part of the gameplay. There is also a shot of a man lugging a dead deer in the trailer. Other gameplay elements spotted are campfires, wagons, stores and horseback riding. Herding may also be included in Redemption 2. 

It is not yet certain how Redemption 2 will be connected to the first game, though evidence is high that it will be a prequel. Even more, there is a possibility that John Marston will be playable as a second character, due to the events that happened in the first installment of the game.

Fans and critics alike are anticipating that Rockstar Games incorporated some Grand Theft Auto 5 elements in the game. For instance, allowing players to switch between characters.
