The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been at the forefront of several exciting rumors in recent times. There is widespread speculation regarding this eagerly awaited smartphone. However, recent image leaks have given a few clues about the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 may ditch any visible fingerprint readers along with navigation keys. The home button may also be missing physically as per the leaked images released recently. Samsung is taking 2017 very seriously after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle that dented its brand image.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to be in the works. Several leaked photographs have now come up online. These display the front fascia of the smartphone which is said to be the S8. Firstpost reports that the smartphone gets chrome and gold finishing.
Other Details Unearthed From the Leaks
This makes the S8 look quite similar to the Galaxy S7. The smartphone may already be undergoing its testing procedures in China as per reports. The display unit has grown considerably in size.
The display spreads fully over the front fascia of the smartphone. The dual edge curves are also quite similar to the S7 Edge. The bottom and top bezels have also gone down significantly. Moreover, the home button is not present as a result.
The navigation keys are also missing and so is the fingerprint reader. These elements are not visible in the leaked image. The bottom only has the logo of the brand. In case this image turns out to be true, this could mean several things.
What Samsung Could Do
Firstly, Samsung may integrate the fingerprint reader below the logo at the bottom. The navigation keys may also be smartly hidden in the Grace UX. They may also be concealed on both sides of the Samsung logo.
They may be capacitive keys which light up when touched. There may also be a hidden dual camera at the back. Digital Trends reports that the S8 will also come with continuum-esque desktop experiences.
