Nintendo Announces Android Launch
Nintendo will now launch Super Mario Run on Android. The Japanese multinational company took the announcement on their Twitter account. Nintendo of Japan also included in the announcement the link to Google for future download so that potential buyers can already pre-register with their email addresses.
For Android users who are still yet to experience Super Mario Run, Internet connection is a necessary requirement in playing the game. Payment is also required to open certain parts and levels of the game. $9.99 is needed in order to play the whole game. Super Mario Run is also played just by tapping the screen to make Mario jump and do cool tricks while up in the air. Mario automatically runs in the game. The game has four modes – World Tour, Toad Rally, Kingdom Builder and Friendly Run.
On one hand, World Tour is where Mario runs and jumps to rescue Princess Peach who has been abducted by Mario’s adversary, Bowser. This mode is made up of 6 worlds with 24 various courses. On the other hand, Toad Rally focuses on Mario’s movements. The game involves interaction with other players. This involves competing with friends or strangers to be able to get the highest score.
In addition, Kingdom Builder is where players will create their own physical dominion. This is where coins may be gathered and Toads may be tasked to help build the said kingdom. This involves creativity and individuality because players can create their own kingdom. The last mode is The Friendly Run which pits players against one another in a Toad Rally. But, this is free gameplay in a sense that nothing in the player’s life is at stake; nobody wins and nobody loses. This game is played for fun just to impress the audience of Toads.
