The Super Mario Run demo is out now for the iOS as the game becomes officially available the next day. This is great news for those who couldn’t wait to try their hands on the upcoming Super Mario game.
The actual version would be released this upcoming December 15 on the iOS simultaneously in 151 countries worldwide. It is compatible with devices installed with at least iOS 8.0 and above. A Nintendo Switch, Android, and Xbox One port is expected around next year.
How to play the iOS demo right now
The only downside of having to play the demo right now is having to venture outside to an Apple Store. So those lucky enough to be living near such establishments could now test the game for free. No need to carry an Apple device as the shops would lend those who wanted to test the game.
Download the iOS demo as soon as it becomes available
The game is going to be released for free as soon as its officially out. Of course, this would be the demo version of the game. Still, it is a good idea to test it out for free first for those who are still hesitating on shelling out money for the game.
The demo version would have limited access to the three modes of the game. Players would just have to pay $9.99 for once to gain the complete version of the game. However, it wasn’t stated if this one time payment excludes possible DLC’s in the future.
To combat piracy and security issues, the game would also only be playable with an internet connection, even when playing in single player mode, as reported by VG 24/7.
