Did you know that you can use Aether Foundation’s Wicke as a character in Super Smash Bros Wii U? Well, not exactly her. However, Pokemon Sun and Moon fans will be delighted to hear you can customize Princess Peach into the cutesy villain.
Players of the game can remember that they will not be able to directly fight Wicke in Sun and Moon. Modder Scorpob seems to have used the character’s overworld unit sprite and worked on the rest of the details.
After that, her model is combined with Princess Toadstool’s. Aside from copying the Princess’s moves, her forward crown air attack is instead replaced by her glasses.
Super Smash Bros: Modding Bonanza
According to Kotaku, it appears Wicke’s hands from her sprite were replaced with Smash‘s Rosalina’s.
Interestingly enough, those who want more Sun and Moon skins for the game can stay tuned. Scorpob appears to be working on Guzma, yet another popular character from the game.
As per 64IOS, it appears other Sun and Moon characters were modded into the game. This includes Glaidon, Popplio and Inceneroar.
Is the Smash Bros. Line Still Alive?
The Super Smash Bros. line of games is a series of crossovers that primarily has Nintendo characters. This means characters from games such as The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and even Pokemon and Mario can meet and interact.
The game appears to be very popular with both competitive and casual gamers. Characters each have their own special skills. Their attacks appear out of this world as well, having that Nintendo “appeal.”
The good reviews for the game will be helpful for the Wii U, as it had lukewarm reception.
Given there are no Smash Bros. games in the making, it also makes sense that modders tinker with Super Smash Bros Wii U.
This is also considering the very positive reviews on Pokemon Sun and Moon. The newest game in the franchise takes players to the Alola Region. The tropical region has its own set of 100+ Pokemon, a few legendaries, and unique versions of normal Pokemon.
