Thousands of games in general have been released in 2016. Superdata, a research firm, revealed that a total of $90 billion revenue was gained worldwide. Mobile gaming was the largest contributor to this amount. It garnered $41 billion from the total revenue. PC gaming brought in $34 billion, retail gaming brought in $26 billion and downloadable console games brought in $6.6 billion.

This year, video game releases 2017 are expected to account for bigger revenue because expanding markets such as VR (virtual reality) and streaming are getting more popular in households.

This video game releases 2017 list will give you an overall hint on the video games which are set to increase the revenue in the gaming industry. The games across PC, consoles, handhelds, and even mobile devices are included in this list. This list will only be up until the mid-second quarter of the year because some game schedules are still unannounced and have not been finalized yet.
