Fire Emblem Heroes (Android and iOS)
One of the big video game releases February 2017, players will take the role of Summoner. This includes characters from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates, in turn-based battles.
Next, players will be able to upgrade their heroes and summon additional heroes to supplement their army. Vote before January 31 to get favorite characters in the game and earn rewards for any Nintendo Account.
Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World (Nintendo 3DS)
This 3DS port will feature all the levels from the Nintendo Wii U title. Furthermore, this title of the video game releases February 2017 will feature new levels. These levels will let players take control of the woolen Poochy. In addition, Yoshi will have the option to team up with a trio of Poochy Pups, who will help sniff out secrets. Nintendo plans to release a yarn Poochy amiibo. This is to go together with the 3DS game.
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book (Windows PC)
The 17th entry showed up for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Now, it is making its way to Windows PC.
Nioh (PlayStation 4)
Next in the video game releases February 2017 is Nioh. Nioh takes place in feudal Japan, where mythological creatures stalk the land. Gamers can enter the strange world. While playing the role of William, the players will find themselves tossed into the middle of the conflicts of a tumultuous land.
For Honor (PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One)
Ubisoft Montreal’s medieval action game is For Honor. The game features three factions: the Knights, the Samurai and the Vikings. The multiplayer mode will track the multiplayer activities across all platforms from all players. Moreover, the winning faction can receive in-game rewards aside from other prizes they can get.
Sniper Elite 4 (PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One)
The Sniper Elite fanbase is one of the most hardcore in the industry. The first trailer sets up the story of Sniper Elite 4, which is headed to Italy to stop Il Duce’s 20-year leadership on the nation.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk (PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC)
Next is Berserk. It is a spinoff from Musou developer Omega Force. Watch Guts and his group of mercenary fighters “The Band of the Hawk” take on demons in this trailer.
Halo Wars 2 (Windows PC and Xbox One)
Blitz puts on a twist on the genre’s core mechanic. This is done by having players focus on deck building and card-based strategy. The new villain Atriox, along with his assembled a mercenary group, The Banished, plot to get their hands on the most powerful weapons in the galaxy.
The game will be included in Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program. It allows customers to play the game on both Xbox One and Windows 10 with one purchase. Check out the multiplayer demo until January 30.
Night in the Woods (Linux, Mac and Windows PC)
Night in the Woods revolves around the story of Mae, a cat who returns home from college to her town. It shows off the game’s characters, and teases some mini-games including a knife fight.
Lego Worlds (PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One)
Minecraft is Lego in video game form. The sandbox Steam Early Access title is getting a proper release after two grueling years.
Horizon Zero Dawn (PlayStation 4)
Horizon Zero Dawn, combines Monster Hunter-style gameplay, and role-playing game progression. Check out the trailer here.
Torment: Tides of Numenera (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC)
Torment was a Kickstarter project nearly three years ago. It is inspired by the cult classic 1999 role playing game titled Planescape: Torment, though now, it clearly has a feeling all its own.
