Who says Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is just about the future? The newest downloadable content (DLC) pack of the game has zombies! Strap on your weapons, survivors, as Activision and Infinity Ward have a scary zombie crisis.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare takes after its predecessors as they also feature the popular “zombies” mini-game inside their main titles. Players are now waiting for the latest offerings of Activision for their science fiction shooter, and Activision delivers a trailer. This time, zombies are raving.
Players are tasked to be one of four survivors that have to face a horde of zombies. This is courtesy of the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC and its star-studded cast. Are you prepared to face zombies?
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare: Rave Zombies!
The new DLC is dubbed Rave in the Redwoods. Players can check the trailer out below for the Sabotage DLC pack. Gamers are thrown in a ’90s rave club in the middle of a forest when a zombie outbreak gets loose.
This is a crazy twist even for the Call of Duty franchise. However, it just seems to work out. The game’s DLC also features actors and directors such as Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma) as himself. The four stars from Zombies in Spaceland, namely Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors, Suicide Squad), Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers), Jay Pharoah (White Famous, Saturday Night Live), and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer) are there.
The enigmatic movie director villain played by Paul Reubens also returns. This time, the bad guy captures Kevin Smith to subject him to yet another “horror flick.” The evil villain is known for pinning players and their characters in “realistic” horror flicks, as in literally lethal ones.
Now players will have to escape the camp grounds with Kevin Smith’s help. That is, before they are completely overrun by zombies. This is a techno-fueled camp ground and a crazy army of zombies between players and freedom.
Meanwhile, classic players are not left behind. The newest DLC also has fresh multiplayer maps for players. This includes Noir, Neon, Renaissance and Dominion. Interestingly, Dominion will be a remade version of Afghan, as in the well-known Modern Warfare 2 level.
Interestingly, according to Game Rant, aside from Sabotage, Infinity Ward and Activision have more expansion packs on the way. As for a game to take on the highly-successful Battlefield 1, then we may have to wait if Call of Duty Vietnam is actually a reality. Sabotage is set to arrive on January 31, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 first. Its PC and Xbox One versions will follow soon after.
