The long wait is over. Danganronpa V3 is coming sooner than you think.
In a recent video shared by Playstation Japan, Spike Chunsoft revealed the release date for the video game and it’ll be available on January 12, 2017.
Along with the release date, the Danganronpa V3 video teaser also showed more of the characters, the Monokuma Cubs and the locations playable where trials will most probably occur.
Many have noted that Monomi isn’t spotted in the video, leading to speculations that she wouldn’t be in this version of the game or she might only have a cameo. Nevertheless, the hype for this game by Spike Chunsoft continues as its release date nears.

Danganronpa V3: Features
Just like previous Danganronpa games, the set up includes characters on a mission to kill each other under the forceful Monokuma bear. But in V3, there’s not only one but several other Monokumas.
The game also takes place at Saishuu Academy. It features new crime scenes, a new round of cast members and new locations. This time around, the gameplay revolves around fifteen Ultimate Inmates. There, they must kill the other without getting the opportunity to be caught. Class Trials will happen and execution greets anyone who guesses incorrectly.
V3 will be available on the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. The release date for Japan is on Thursday. The versions for North America and Europe are set for release this year.
If you’re interested in playing the demo version of the game, it’s available on both the PS4 and PS Vita. Although do note that the share feature for the game is only available for the first chapter. This is due to Spike Chunsoft avoiding the spread of spoilers for other interested gamers waiting for the official release.
