On his birthday, Justice League movie director Zack Snyder decided to be generous and give the entire world a treat. The 51-year-old filmmaker took the time to share a behind the scenes look at Jason Momoa’s Aquaman over Twitter.
Snyder has just posted a quick clip of Momoa doing an underwater scene for the upcoming Justice League movie. The 5-second clip was accompanied by a caption that read: “Working on my birthday.”
The test footage comes as the team behind the Hollywood blockbuster currently undergoes post-production. In the short clip, we see Momoa gliding underwater with spectacular imagery. Check out the footage in the player below:

Fans, behold the King of Atlantis! The brief look shows Momoa swimming towards someone in what appears to be a trident. The background is rich with underwater details which include other sea creatures along with coral reefs.
Unfortunately, fans can’t decipher exactly what’s going on in the scene with no sound and what seems to be footage coming from the editing bay, reported IGN. In addition to this, since it was posted a few hours ago, the Twitter video has already received over 6,400 retweets and 11,000 likes.
The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash along with a number of other A-Listers, notes Coming Soon.
Injustice 2: Here’s What We Know
Speaking of DC characters, Injustice: Gods Among Us was a sleeper hit among DC Comics fans. The rise in the interest over Injustice 2 and Justice League signals its ability to keep up with its rival, Marvel.
Contrary to what is happening in Justice League, Injustice is a spinoff that features an alternate dark universe where the heroes have fallen apart and are now battling each other. The roster of heroes includes Superman and Batman along with other confirmed characters including Aquaman, Black Canary, Catwoman and much more.
