[Watch] Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 15 Bonus Clip Shows New Hero Vs Ultros

Square Enix recently released a fan appreciation video for thousands of Final Fantasy 15 fans. The video features Ultros, a character in the game who annoys everyone in the Final Fantasy universe.

Final Fantasy 15 Kingsglaive Fan Appreciation Video

The video features a chef that defeats Ultros in one blow by serving him as a delicacy — an occurrence that will please the fans due to the unpleasant nature of the character.

Furthermore, the video is Square Enix’ way of thanking the fans for supporting the Final Fantasy 15 Kingsglaive film. The final scene cuts to the part where Libertus, Nyx, and Crowe are eating together. Finally, it seems the scene hints that Ultros was sliced and diced by the chef and was served to the Kingsglaive characters.

The fan appreciation video didn’t say if the chef will be included as a playable character. However, he will be a good addition to the games’ impressive roster of playable characters.

Possible New Features To Be Released In The Next Final Fantasy 15 Event

There is a possibility that the video revealed new features that will be seen in the next Final Fantasy event this January. Ultros’ scene with some characters in the video was never before seen in the game.

Furthermore, Ultros may appear as a boss in the next event. It has been confirmed that Gilgamesh will be added as downloadable content (DLC) in Episode Gladiolus. This may hint that other villains, and characters that appeared in other Final Fantasy games, will be included in FF15.

Meanwhile, the move that the chef used may have teased a new weapon in the game. The character took his sandal and used it to kick and strike Ultros. Incidentally, none of the characters used this move in the game. It may sound like a long shot, but exciting new features are always a welcome addition for the gamers.

However, it has been confirmed that Iris will be added in the game as a playable character. She has a background in martial arts and uses her knuckles to fight. To add this feature as a skill will interest fans to open the game again even if they have already finished it.

Kingsglaive is currently available on Blu-Ray. Stay tuned to Video Games Republic to catch the latest on video games, tech and more.
