[Watch] Sniper Elite 4 Release Date: Gameplay, New Modes & More

Sniper Elite 4 is the subject of immense speculation amongst fans and enthusiasts. The game’s release date is what is tantalizing fans. Rebellion Games has now shared a new trailer for this eagerly awaited game.

Sniper Elite 4 now comes with a “101” trailer which runs for around 6 minutes. This trailer takes viewers right through the main mission, features, setting and storyline in the game. There are several modes delineated along with sniping basics.

The Sniper Elite 4 trailer comprises wholly of gameplay-based footage. As a result, it does indicate what the final game will feel like as per Gaming Bolt. Fans already know the basic shooting mechanisms and the combat requirements.

More on the Trailer

This trailer is going to help all newcomers immensely. It will give you a bird’s eye view of the basics to be absorbed. February 14th, 2017 is the launch date for the game. It launches simultaneously for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Games Radar reports that there are several enhancements to the single player mode. This is seen clearly in the trailer and includes the expanded shooting options.

You will be able to customize your weapons along with taking part in online multiplayer contests. This is a welcome addition, as Karl Fairburne, the protagonist, is seen to be basking in his deadly marksman image.

The trailer gives a good idea of this war time drama. Fairburne’s skills come to the fore especially when he can destroy an entire bridge with a bullet. Most fans and longtime players will already be familiar with the entire milieu of the game.

However, there are two details missing up to now. Firstly, there is no word on brand new X-ray cams which can create quite a stir. Secondly, there is no talk of whether players can kill Hitler again or not.

What Players Can Now Do

Basic gameplay, on the other hand, still remains quite similar. Players still have to be on missions which require them to be unheard and unseen. They are required to traverse areas spread across the lovely Italian coast.

They also have to keep eliminating high ranking Nazi targets. These are assigned to Lieutenant Karl Fairburne, the hero of the game. The trailer also showcases the multiplayer features to good effect.

Players will now rejoice at the prospect of finishing an entire mission with a partner. They can also compete in 12 player matches online. There will also be a separate challenge sets. These will be for teams comprising of anything between two and four players. However, this will only be available once you’ve finished the entire campaign in the game.
